Before we lose the light, check out this yard. I think the woman who lives here is waiting for her pirate husband to come home.
I know women used to use curtains to send signals to sailors, so I’ve been trying to figure out if she is telling her husband, “Come home,” or warning him not to?
Here’s how I read these signals (counter-clockwise from top left): A. You still have my heart, but part of me is on the fence about our relationship; B. If you do come home, you won’t be laying around doing nothing; C. You will help watch over our children.
