There would be no Easter if there was no Christmas.
When the time came this year to take down my Christmas trees (yes, “Christmas” is the correct term for why I had them up, and yes, there were two of them, small ones that don’t overwhelm my living space, and yes, I don’t take them down normally until after the first of the year), the thought of coming home and not turning on the joyful lights bummed me out.
“It won’t hurt to redecorate them for one more holiday…” I told myself.
…or two holidays.
…or three.
So here we are at Easter. (If you want to see Valentine’s Day and or St. Patrick’s Day trees, please let me know.)
